Increased Vklm Traffic Officers Visibility yield positive results The municipality boosted its traffic department staff with 40 recruits in July 2019 on a learnership programme. The aim was to increase human capacity in the department by adding more numbers to ensure total visibility and safety for motorists travelling on the roads within the municipality. Different operations have been carried out where thorough search is done and discoveries of drugs and illegal weapons are made. The traffic department has also been resourceful in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic where they made it their responsibility to ensure compliance on the lockdown regulations.
