"DELMAS" is a French word meaning small town. Delmas was established in 1907 by Frank Dumat as a farm community service centre.

Delmas is a strategically situated on the borderline of Mpumalanga and Gauteng Provinces hence referred to as the "Western Gateway to Mpumalanga Province"

Delmas is suitable destination for both local and international tourist destination, for people escaping the hustle and bustle of Gauteng Metro Cities.
